Our thoughts on the Chicago Sky.
We are: SkyCraft - the mother. Long time women's sports fan. I actually did master's work in American Women's history. I vividly remember reading biographies of Babe Didrickson Zaharias when I was a kid. Although I never was good enough to play high school or college sports, I did play intramural sports and still play volleyball and golf.
DisneyDad - the father. DisneyDad is not athletic at all, althought he loves his Chicago teams. When we bought Sky tickets we didn't think he would be interested. Then he experienced a game, and he loves them.
SkyFencer - the oldest daughter. SkyFencer has taken basketball lessons in the past, but has decided she'd rather fence. She loves the Sky games and is quite an enthusiastic fan. This year she got to be in one of the fan lines at the beginning of the games when the players enter the court.
SkyDramaQueen - the youngest daughter. SkyDramaQueen attended a game or two last year. She didn't really care for the game itself. She enjoyed the events after the game. This year, she is into the game. Maybe it is another year of maturity. This summer she is going to try to play some basketball.
